"WHY?" is the question I'm asking here.

With hopes of getting their schedule firmly set and that this should be the last round of changes, Media Blasters has sent out notice of what to expect from their changed schedule. We've included all their sub-properties on this list for reference, as well as making sure people realize it's not just their anime that's affected, and we will be working to update our release database over the next few days simply because there are a slew of changes to be made here. Anime titles are in bold with the old release date and the new release date.
There are layoffs at Media Blasters that are going along with this. The answer may just be the sales market sucks and they are trying to survive it.
betenoire- i saw that news bit on anime news network- you may be right but I stil think that the faster they put titles out the sooner they make a profit. unless they try to put dubs into some of the titles like sayanora which origionally wasnt going to have one. that much i can undrwstand
Didn't know MB was finally re-issuing "Urotsukidoji" untill now. For how long has that title been oop on Region 1 DVD?
@ Hectotane: They just laid off a chunk of their staff and the big buyer clients aren't buying. (Probably Best Buy being the unnamed major one.)
I remember a while back someone over at MB said they were doing better than even Funi, in terms of profit margins and stability. Guess the meltdown's working it's magic! (Recovery? What recovery?)
all these delays and layoffs are disappointing, lets hope things start to change for the better soon! i enjoy owning anime more then streaming it on-line
Really donesnt surprise me I hope media blasters doesnt fall into the same category as Bandai but it keeps looking that way
