Former star of Fox TV series cast as bloodsucker in new BLADE

One year ago at this time, actor Dominic Pursell had his own TV series on the Fox Network. Unfortunately, JOHN DOE only lasted for one season before getting cancelled, Now Pursell is going to be returning to where the series was filmed -- Vancouver, Canada -- to play the role of Wesley Snipes' adversary in BLADE: TRINITY.

The Hollywood Reporter mentions that Pursell's character in TRINITY is indeed a vampire but it doesn't state the sucker's name. That may be due to the identity of the vampire being a story spoiler. Of course, if you've been following our coverage on BLADE: TRINITY you'll probably know who it is Reporter is talking about....right?

Filming begins on the new BLADE picture this month, with Kris Kristofferson, Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds also starring in the film.
