I'm sorry but I think that first photo of Magneto is horrendous, only because of composition. It makes his arm look incredibly smaller and improportioned. It's a very weird angle. Also,. what costumes is he reffering to, the street attire or the blue and yellow suits we saw in the banner? Are those not blue/yellow and Bond-like? I just don't get all of Vaughn's gripes about the released images because they're all pretty good.

 Monkeyfoot:  No, from I've read, everyone supports a total reboot.  Singer got X-Men 2 right (but, then again, it was based strongly on Claremont's graphic novel.)  I thought the first one was a bit of a let down.  There are a lot of things I'd change about Singer's version.  Which is why I wish Sony would quit maintaining the rights to Spidey, FF and X-Men.  They should revert back to Marvel.  Then we can see a fully realized Marvel Universe.

OH looks like Kraken89 beat me to the punch. But ya..... the only reason i had ANY interest in this was cuz i like Fassbender as Magneto. But there goes that balloon....

btw when the director says that he's "NOT bastardizing the Xmen..." shows that he's already a liar with the whole storyline and choice of mutants!! THat in itself is beyond bastardizing!!!! THe only original Xmen in this is Beast!?!?! Wtf is he talking about?!?!

With any luck, this X-film will bomb so bad that Fox will be forced to sell the rights back to Marvel to recoup their losses. Hey one can dream right? I am diggin Jones though...

 Those X-men stills are better then the Publicity of everyone in costume.  Spider-man still looks like crap.  Can't wait for it to air on FX.

I'm with you monkeyfoot I'm looking forward to First Class, the X-Men are still my favorite team from my teen years. . The fact that Singer effed up the team make-up and chronology of the team is a done deal. So Vaughn is working with what's been established in this X-universe. I can dig it even if it still bothers me a bit. I also like them paying homage to the original uniforms and if it was me they'd wear that through out when on missions

Yeah, Magneto does look like the main bad guy in a kiddie movie or something in that first picture.  The rest of the pics/info leaves me feeling better than I was yesterday.

I can't wait to see Will Smith's version of Annie.  Oh wait, yes I can.  (You know, if he's not careful, Will could come across as if he is pimping out his children to Hollywood... but I've always liked him, so I'll give him a little slack).

And Wiseguy is right about the slate of movies for this summer/year.  Good thing, too because let's face it... 2010 sucked!
