Bay did find a worse actress than Fox.  The woman who played Sam's girlfriend in Transformers 3 made Fox look like an Oscar contender.

The funny thing is, the TMNT you saw in the movies and cartoons WAS a departure from the original comics.  The valley speak talking, pizza loving, skateboard riding turtles were a far cry from the dark and serious satire of the original comics.  The property was ALREADY sold out and ripped off.  I don't know what else Bay can do to it.  Blow it up I suppose...

 From IMDB:

"Aliens invade Earth and inadvertently spawn a quartet of mutated reptile warriors, the Ninja Turtles, who rise up against them to defend the world."

Doesn't sound like they're "aliens".  Sounds more like the alien antagonists are merely the source of the ooze and the origin is a variation of the original comic or television show.

Yeah Karas I remember the original Laird TMNT. All red, no nicey nice bullshit. The were more like Punisher than Superman. Criminals were killed. Not captured. Yeah those were good times.

i must have low expectations as well, i like M.B, his movies to me are fu.cking cool, fun and loads of eye candy. but i have to be honest the idea of the TMNT, being Aliens well i'm opend to the idea but more so if they explain that they came in contact with some Alien chemical who knows? then again for the most part i like just about anything . life is too short to waist it  fucking whining and crying bout changes. getting older not younger, so at this point i just look at it like a chance to enjoy yet another day with my children and to see them happy excited and enjoying the moment, that's my high ..all that other crap i could care less. ..
