Julianne Moore is in talks to star in CHILDREN OF MEN with Clive Owen.

The sci-fi project is set in the near future, in a world sent into turmoil when people lose the ability to have children. Moore would play "the first woman to become pregnant in nearly 20 years. Owen is enlisted to protect her after the death of the Earth's youngest person, age 18."

Alfonso Cuaron is directing.

Ummm sounds interesting. Maybe this one could be a sequel to The Forgotten and the baby could be an alien baby.

So the Forgotten isnt about Julianne's pant and pantyless scene in Altman's
Short Cuts?

How could you forget Julianne Moore pantyless?

This is based on the novel "The Children of Men" by mystery writer P.D. James... the novel was published in 1993 (I happen to have a copy of it). The premise is that because of disease and environmental factors, everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) becomes sterile, and the world begins to prepare for its end as the population grows older and older... until one woman somehow becomes pregnant. The fight is then to see who will control her and her child.

Good novel, but I'm not sure it's movie-worthy.

At least it seems to be an original idea... something sorely lacking in today's cinema.
