Indiana and the mediocre silly crusade

This movie was a disappointment to say the least. The story really wasnt developed well. Unlike the other Indy movies the villains were not developed at all really. Then of course Indy goes on this crusade with some random kid who is supposed to be some greaser on a motorcycle but Shia is not very convincing. I like him in most stuff I have seen but not in this role. Then the Indy entourage on the adventure just gets to big. When he meets up with the chick from the first film it gets even worse. I cant believe someone said the chemistry was good between her and Ford. There is no chemistry at all. She seems like a crazy person and apparently the russians are unable to shoot any weapon even remotely straight. the movie should have ended in the first 5 minutes with Indy dead but for some reason no villains shot at indy when he was right in front of them.
The ending is not explained well........some answers would have been nice.......who are the crystal skull people, where did they come from, what power does the skull possess really? nobody really knows. Then they get married at the end which is unbelievable to me. Ho hum, not very good. Iron Man is the best movie so far this summer.
