According to the USA TODAY, Paramount's MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE III will hit shelves on October 30 as a special collector's edition DVD. Interesting to note that the release date is a Monday, and not the typical Tuesday. The studio is calling it "Mission Monday."

The DVD will release simultaneously on DVD, HD DVD and Blu-ray disc formats. Each two disc set will include four behind-the-scenes featurettes and various deleted scenes.

The HD DVD comes with extra enhanced commentary by Tom Cruise and J.J. Abrams.

I liked MI:3 and thought PSH made a good villian. Tom Cruise may be a Scientology nutcase, but i still think he delivers a good performance.

Ahh.... "crickets." Got it. I agree, wes. I like this much better than MI:2. I don't like Cruise's public rants, but if he keeps making decent movies, I'll keep seeing them. I'll enjoy much more if he just shuts his mouth, tho.

He's an idiot but I dont think thats the basis of going to see a movie. If that were the case I couldnt go to the movie because in someway there all idiots. I like MI3 the best so far.

Does anyone know how HD-DVD and Blu-ray discs are selling?

fft5305 • Aug 11, 2006, 11:03am •
It's not the only basis, spidey, but it affects how you feel about the actor, and therefore influences if you go to see a movie or not. And his idiocy is much more public than most other stars' idiocies.
