Mia Farrow to join cast of THE LAST UNICORN

Actress lends her talent to THE LAST UNICORN for the second time

Mia Farrow will be joining the cast of the live-action remake of THE LAST UNICORN. According to the film's website, Farrow will play Molly Grue, the outlaw with a pure heart who can see unicorns. This will be the second time Farrow has involved herself in the project. She was the voice of The Unicorn/Lady Amalthea in the original animated feature.

UNICORN also stars Christopher Lee (THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE TWO TOWERS, STAR WARS: EPISODE II) as King Haggard, Angela Landsbury (ANASTASIA, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST) as Mommy Fortuna and Rene Auberjonois (DEEP SPACE NINE, INSPECTOR GADGET) as Captain Cully and the voice of the Skeleton. Julian Doyle (LOVE POTION) and Michael Pakleppa (UNUSUAL REQUEST) will direct.

Production is slated to start in spring 2003 with a release scheduled for late autumn/Christmas 2004.
