I dunno, the 50's serialized sci-fi feel really didn't work for Indiana Jones but MIB has a campier tone from the get go so I'm willing to give it a shot I guess.

Who needs state of the art CG-created sinister aliens when you can put a guy in a fishbowl looking outfit and hand him a plastic ray gun? It seems that genre fans checking out next year's Men in Black III in theaters will have a chance to see aliens from those classic cheesy sci-fi films of the '50s and '60s. The boys over at Shock Til You Drop had a chance to catch up with legendary special effects make-up guru Rick Baker, who explains that Agents J (Will Smith) and K (Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin) won't be the only ones dealing with the past in the time-traveling adventure.
When asked about what aliens we can expect to see in the third installment, Baker responded:
"The thing that's cool is there is a time travel element [to the story]. Where I had fun is that we go back to the Men in Black headquarters of the '60s. The first thing I said is that we should have retro aliens, not aliens of 2012. More based on B-movies of the '50s and '60s. So, a lot of the aliens are based on that. Space suits with fishbowl helmets and ray guns."
Returning franchise director Barry Sonnenfeld is currently shooting the production, based on a screenplay by Etan Cohen, David Koepp and Jeff Nathanson.
Men in Black III arrives in 3D/2D/IMAX theaters on May 25, 2012.

Haha Rick Baker is a master of the special effects / makeup . I like the idea of the retro look . Retro rocks.
Sounds like this one will be lots of fun.
Looking forward to it.
Oh hell yeah monkeyfoot, bring on the Mu-tants! Rememeber when MST3K did that one? Cal, your standing on a mu-tant turd! priceless.
Sounds cool, I wanna see them cameo the gorilla with the deep sea helmet
Ugh, I just hope this one turns out better than the last one. First one was funny. Second one sucked. I don't think I laughed at a single scene in the second movie.
So the guys from Mars Attacks will make an appearance, cool with me. That look never gets old and works fine in this sort of film, comedy-sci/fi
