I thought this movie got shelfed.  And by the way K never smiles he is suppose to be a serious character.

Brolin as a youg Agent K is a stretch to me but fuckit this franchise lost it's diginity a looooong time ago... when did MIB II come out again??? lol... but seriously the only people who can make this film any good are Will Smith if he comes with at leat his "B" game and Jemaine Clement from Flight of the Conchords because the idea of him as an alien has me laughing already...

LOL- how OLD must Tommy Lee Jones feel if a guy like Josh Brolin is playing a "Younger" version of his character.

SarcasticCaveman 4/13/2011 1:37:09 AM

Eh, Tommy Lee Jones is 22 years older than Josh Brolin...I'd say he feels old enough to feel old already, violator.

bearly - maybe after 22 years working in MIB did kinda sore his prespective on life in general.  Remember J had turned into a flashy memory gun addict by the second movie.

These pics are between takes, so how is it out of character for the actor to be smiling?

Wiseguy 4/13/2011 6:53:25 AM

Brolin really does look like a younger TLJ. I hope this is a major improvement over the last one

Higgy 4/13/2011 10:36:39 AM

I agree.  He looks pretty good as a young TLJ.

At first, I thought that was Tommy Lee Jones sitting with Will in the car. The smile does it. Good choice. I am sure this will redeem the franchise.

violator14: Tommy is 64 and Josh is 43. They are stretching the age factor over two decades by having Josh play a younger Agent K, as Tommy was in his 20s in the 1960s. So the Agent K character must be slightly older than Tommy actually is, like around Rip Torn's (Zed) age.

bearly: Agent K did a lot of smiling, and some laughing, in the first MIB movie.
