While on the set of Eagle Eye, reporter Heather Newgen had a chance to ask the actress about the rumors of her playing Silver Fox in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Surprisingly, she answered the question though it's still up in the air whether she will play the role. She wants to but they're looking at their schedules to see if there's any conflicts on timing...

"They've asked me to do it," she said. I really like Hugh Jackman and it's areally, really great franchise and stuff. I think we're going to have to work on dates and see if it conflicts. We'll see."

X-Men Origins: Wolverine will hit theaters May 1, 2009.

She would make for a nice little bonus and incentive to go see the movie. Not that I need an incentive, but she's a hottie and couldn't hurt at the b.o.

Whit no offenses mate, I constantly find it surprising to see people on this site comments on the need of a hottie to see a movie or not or like you pointed out, the "hottie precense is an incentive.
It is really reducing most of us here as hopeless cpu geeks who's only contact with female is through a medium of some sort.

And on this note i'll only add: She indeed have to body to play this mutant and she got the acting skill's. I think she was good enough in Kiss K bang B... She could be a better asset then that smilling face with no acting talent that played Deathstrike.

Well, putting aside what you said nimerod, she does have the legs for the part. I think she could pull of the looks and the character. Obviously they'll have to do something with her hair, and a good tan could help.

nimerod, I'm not offended at all. But that's how I get down. My privates are always bruised from beating up against the t.v. screen. I wish they would invent some sort of cushion for that. Guess I'll just live with the discomfort.

I can't stand Michelle Monaghan. She looks like Liv Tyler's downs-syndromed sister.

I think she is a hottie but I agree with nimerod. That doesn't mean a thing at the box office. For some reason a lot of guys think that but if that was the case Jessica Albas movies would be 100 million dollar hits every time. Hotties don't drive up the box office numbers, good stories cool movies do.
