Frank Miller has told MTV Movies Blog that he plans on SIN CITY 2 and 3 with Robert Rodriguez.  Miller said, “Robert and I have a script and we’re all raring to go. We’re aching to get started. I want to work with that crew again…that wonderful cast.”

He went on to add, “There was just some problems above us that I don’t understand…that I don’t really want to understand.”

SIN CITY 2 will be an adaptation of Miller's A DAME TO KILL FOR, while SIN CITY 3 will most likely concentrate on HELL AND BACK.

Really looking forward to the two flicks. SIn City, for me, is the best comic book to movie that has ever come out. I have no doubt that the movie will be a success and will be done great. Looking forward to knowing more.

I think Sin City was a very cool movie, but I did like the visual style of 300 better. I think if they are gonna make 2 more Sin City movies, they are going to have to up the bar and try something new to keep peoples interest. The Second won't be a problem, but look at the trend of thrid movies lately, not doing so hot. Well, again, let's wait and see what they serve up.

I'm there! I love how faithful Rodriguez and Miller were to his original comics, and if the next two are given the same treatment, I'm sure they'll be great. But I'm curious what Miller means when he refers to the "problems" above that he didn't understand. Does anybody know what he's referring to? Were the suits against more movies or something? I'm curious.

Whiskeymovie: I agree. 300 pulled off the green screen environment a little better--or at least, I think it looked more beautiful. Conversely, how it was handled in Sin City was appropriate, as it really did look just like the comic. I see them doing the same style for 2, but since Hell and Back was in color, they could easily go the route that 300 went for Sin City 3. I hope these don't get so delayed as to put them in Development Hell for years.

I thought they were gonig to make Sin City 2 and then a TV show?

I just want them to make Sin City 2. Then see what is next for that series. Yes, they have said they were doing a TV show and now they are saying another movie. They are dragging their feet about as bad as the Hellboy 2 group.

I heard this too: TWO SIN CITY's and a TV SHOW. what's up with that? will the show be on HBO, or toned down for broadcast? well, whatever. can't wait. Rob Rod is the man.
