Milo Ventimiglia is the latest to join the upcoming heist-action flick Armored, reports Variety. The "Heroes" star will help heist a bank truck alongside Skeet Ulrich, Matt Dillon, Columbus Short, Laurence Fishburne, Jean Reno and Fred Ward. Director Nimrod Antal is behind the camera, based on a screenplay inked by James V. Simpson. Sam Raimi, Josh Donen and Dan Farah are producing while Chris Lemos and Luis Guerrero both executive produce. Production is already under way in Los Angeles.

Plot Concept: Ulrich will play Dobbs, a scruffy member of an armored truck company team, who is persuaded by his veteran cohorts to empty a truck of its $10 million cargo.

If handled right Milo could blow up big as a movie star. Maybe knock Shea La-whathisname out of the loop.

Yeah, I think he is great on Heroes,,,expect when he does that weird mouth to the side thing..lol....I like Skeet Ulrich also, he just never seemed to find his right vechicle. But Jean Reno, Fishburne and Ward are all great actors, so this could be interesting.

Yeah, not sure what is up with Milo talking as if he had a stroke, but it came in handy when playing Stallone's son in Rocky Balboa lol

Maybe the producers of the Rambo franchise could do a "reboot" and Milo Ventimiglia could play the young John Rambo (the studios seem to be reimagining a lot of film franchises these days).

When will we see Skeet Ulrich - Johnny Depp play brothers? Really, were they split apart as children or what? :-)

A director who's name is Nimrod? hahaha.

I couldn't take him seriously. Hopefully the flick is good though. Sounds like a decent cast.

Always thought that if Tobey got too pricey for Spidey this guy could be an easy replacement. But, now that he's so well known for Heroes I don't see that happening.

You know the movie Hard Rain, which was sorta like this, wasn't a horrible movie, but it wasn't a good movie either. Still it's worth seeing once I guess.
I suppose this will be worth seeing once too.
As for Milo playing Peter. I disagree. He's not wimpy enough. Parker was a loser. Milo's voice and mannerism aren't right. Though I still think he'd be cheap. He's no where near the price of Tobey.

I agree with you almostunbiased. Milo could not pull off the role of Peter or as Spiderman. He is not strong enough as an actor to handle the lead character in that syle of movie.
