I watched the hobbit twice since it's release, will not be seeing it again in a theater for it is far to long to have to sit in seats not all so comfortable, but will see it many time more when it finally hits blue ray...Great movie and I'm for sure looking forward to the second movie...
@ Wiseguy, no it's where the head of her ding dong stays and where Violators mouth will be violated with big green, well you know...
@Dazzler...Not often I agree with you but in this case more games would be rocken with the intro of new games through either vehicles of some sort or hand to hand combat with different types of weapons...Could be pulled off in the same way Gladiator was done and still have a good story to tell, first and fore most of course...
Who ever it was that mentioned cross over from grid to real world, that would be just as cool...
Love it!!!
Not me, I'm impressed. I'm in!
I want Shane Acker and if not then give me the guy that directed the tron movie or the guy that made district 9...
Screw that! Let Shane Acker direct it, he can bring the perfect tone to this movie, a more darker and grittier type of SW , you know, the way the last 3 movies should been...
@Lazarus...Why can't we have this as being the story for this particular SM? Is there some basic cookie cutter outline that all must follow when shaping a movie around this story? I don't think so and would not want that to be the case because all we would get is the same old story every single time, wow! how borring that is gang...I for one like the idea of how they decided to partray Supes at this particular time in his life in the story, from what I understand he takes one of those discover yourself by discovering the world type of journies and why not? You have a man that was raised by two humans on an alien planet, he has super powers and knows he's differenrt so why would he not at some point in his life decide to travel the world and see if allot of the conflicts and answers he has within himself can in some wya be answered or put to rest? it sounds like they are humanize superman to me...
Lazarus, some of the best writers we have around have discovered the secret to writing and it's simply this, How can you accurately write about something and create real fealings an emotions and have come off as real to the reader? You have to go out and live life and experience new and exciting things, that is how you make your writing come to life, and you can tell the difference between witers who live life and those that live in front of their computer all day wondering why they can't get deals with publishers, I bring this up because I think clarks travels in this story help to shape him into a good writer and in some small way it's one the last pieces of the puzzle that help shape his views, personally and professionaly so I guess what I am saying is that I can easly buy what they are trying to sale me at this point in the story...Whho knows?
I'm on board for a new and fresher Tar of the Zan...Get the seriousness of this story injected into the project, the way that Peter Jackson did with LOTR by making it seem as though this really happend to someone, make it dark but not so dark that it drives a wedge between the fine line of good story telling/demographics and atmospheric tones, visuals/ticket sales and then you will have catered to everyone, the fact that they need to sale movie tickets leaves me wondering if it should be a little light hearted but not to light hearted... We are dealing with a story that is dark and complex in nature and there are many times through out this story that are a bit adult oriented in theme, this is what excites me about this story, if I was a kid it would be all the jungle animals that have my attention but I'm not a kid so it's not about the animals as much as it is about the story of a lost a forgotten baby who was raised in hostile surroundings and raised to become a wild savage animal in a world unthinkable to most people that live in what they call civilized and cultured surroundings...
What the hell, the story says it all, just make the damn movie like it's suppose to be made and don't kiddy it all up for the sake of selling a bunch of stuffed animal toys and you can't lose on this one.. Remember If we find ourselves in a frame of mind that let'sus go on a journey and experience it as though we were there with the characters in the movie, and not simply watching the movie just for enterainment as though we were outside looking in, then you have a recipe that even the Bam master would be envy of, all kinds of bamming going on if done right, right?

I personaly know Josh Holloway and I think he would make a great bad guy in one form or another and even though he has that traditional good looking, good guy look he would still be great in a bad persons role...
