Money does talk to Chris Tucker

Funnyman Chris Tucker is standing on the verge of making big bucks for coming back in a sequel to MONEY TALKS for New Line Cinema. Tucker stands to make $20 million dollars guaranteed for starring in the sequel, with more profit participation (his salary against 20% of the movie's gross) promised if the film's a hit. New Line also wants to get Charlie Sheen back in MONEY TALKS 2.
It's a bit of a gamble for the studio on Tucker. The actor hasn't starred in a movie since RUSH HOUR 2 arrived in theaters three years ago. Work is still happening on RUSH HOUR 3, with the latest news being the hire of screenwriter John Rogers (THE CORE) to polish the script and lower the film's production cost by having all the action take place in a single locale.
