As a retard myself, I agree fully with Rob.  I had the misfortune of watching the movie before reading this.  At best, this movie is merely okay, but you're better off passing on this film.

Funny thing is, is that I was thinking, "If Time Bandits isn't on this list, then this is just a waste of my time!".  Not only was it not a warste of time, but it hit #1!

I know it's a joke list, but it's appreciated all the same! =]

 And yes, I would like an Evil Genius action figure.  I would even buy the "Evil Genius flinging cowboys carousel" box set.

All of a sudden I feel very, very good...

I was expecting some amped up 70's-esque disaster schlock, but to tell the truth, I loved that crap as kid in the 70's and I still hang onto that love like a shameful little secret. 

I figured this would get poor ratings and I thought that wouldn't stop me, but seeing that the movie clocks in 20 minutes shy of 3 hours, I may just have to wait for the Blu-Ray rental.  The older I get, the harder I find it to justify spending 3 hours in a movie theater.   Especially when it comes to a CG bonanza!  I haven't forgotten Transformers 2 and that's not an experience that I want to repeat.  At least Transformers 2 had Megan Fox, John Cusack just doesn't give me the same goosbumps as she does!

Kingdom of the Spiders?  WooT?!?  I loved that movie when I was a kid!  Of course, that was the 70's and I was a little boy, so anything with Nature (normal sized or super sized) seeking vengence on humanity, whether it was animal or disaster was soooo cool!

Sadly, I still have a soft spot for that schlock!

I would like to see a Davey and Goliath/Moral Oral 2-pack!

Tim, you're too much of a skeptic.  Once the last 3 books in the WoT series come out, you'll admit that there was no was to squeeze this into one publishable book.  Let's wait and see what happens.

Also, I think RJ's widow would be more into honoring her husbands wishes than making another dime.  She's got enough money from the series as it is.  ToR is another story of course!

And aside from those previous points, we're getting The Gatehring Storm next month.  If ToR and Sanderson decided to wait to publish the "last book" until it was finished, we'd have to wait two more years.  We don't need another George RR Martin wait beteween books, give us our fix now!
