The whole time I was reading the book, the only person I had in my head for Coin was General Beckman (Bonita Friedericy) from "Chuck".

She works...

I agree.  She comes across as someone very genuine.  A good fit IMHO.

I was thinking Roger Moore, but hey... She's got boobs and that's a good thing.

I love the Hunger Games trilogy. I love Julianne Moore. Marriage made in heaven for me. :)

I really don't think that Mockingjay needs two movies.  That book of all three actually has the least content (and goes the most overboard on the sci-fi stuff).

@Cap...hollywood's mantra these days is make two when one will do. I think that is the new trend when they have success with a franchise based on a book. I bet WB is kicking themselves now for not making more of the Harry Potter books two parters.

ElBaz13 6/28/2013 7:56:02 AM

Yup. The studios all want to milk as much as possible since there is no other source material ro adapt.

It all started with Potter 7 parts 1 and 2. Then it was done for Twilight, Hobbir and now Hunger Games.

It is true, the Potter movies could have benefited seperating books 4 and 5 into two movies as a lot of source material was cut. Actually, Order of Phoenix was the shortest Potter film and it was based on the biggest book of the series.

Didn't care for this the first time. Not really expecting much better with the sequel but maybe it'll surprise me

It's strange how a lot of the female fans I spoke too didn't like the final book but I preferred it over the first two.

I think it's because Mockinjay really falls into sci-fi territory with many elements of classic films like Soylent Green, Running Man, Logan's Run. , etc...

Looking forward to Mockingjay but need for 2 movies.
