Redhead to star opposite Nicolas Cage in new thriller

Julianne Moore is in discussions to join Nicolas Cage in the science fiction/thriller NEXT for Revolution Studios. Based on the Philip K. Dick short story "The Golden Man", NEXT is about a man (Cage) that has the ability to see the future and choose a different path to take, thus altering the outcome of events. Moore would play a FBI agent that is seeking people with psychic abilities to help her prevent terrorist acts from occurring before they happen.

Dick's story was adapted for the screen by Gary Goldman (TOTAL RECALL). Before beginning work on NEXT Cage will star in GHOST RIDER.
