Morales Joins CAPRICA

Esai Morales has joined the cast of Sci Fi Channel's two-hour CAPRICA pilot.
The project is a prequel to the network's BATTLESTAR GALACTICA series. Morales will play Joseph Adama, the father of William Adama, who one day will take command of the Battlestar Galactica.
The character of Joseph is described as a deeply passionate man with a strong sense of justice -- and someone you wouldn't want as your enemy.
Morales is an American actor best known for his role as Lt. Tony Rodriguez on NYPD BLUE. He also appeared in the PBS drama AMERICAN FAMILY and in the Showtime series RESURRECTION BLVD. Most recently, he played Major Edward Beck on JERICHO.
He joins a cast that already includes Paula Malcomson as a surgeon who works as a double agent.
