Teletoon in Canada is showing off a new bit of footage from 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold'. This opening clip from Episode 1: "The Rise of the Blue Beetle" finds Batman and The Green Arrow having just escaped from a death trap set by the Clock King. Now Batman reflects on his crime-fighting friend as they turn the tables on their captors...

November 14 will be have an interesting night for Batman: The Brave & The Bold for director Ben Jones. The series will premier on Cartoon Network at 8:00 p.m. (Eastern - Note the new time) that evening. One of the episodes he directed, “The Rise of the Blue Beetle,” is the one chosen to lead it all off.

About the Brave And The Bold: I have to admit that they've chosen a very good voice actor for the Batman. Reminds me of Kevin Conroy. But that's all. The rest of it is as bad as I have imagined. And I mean "really bad"! Ah.... yes... and the score is also so bad, that it suits the picture well. This is kiddie stuff at best.
The Badman is back again. Worse than ever.
It's a cruel thought to think, that this series will survive another five seasons like "The Batman" did before. So another five years to wait for a hopefully better approach to the dark knight.
