I'm so amped for this movie I really hope this movie lives up to expectations.
With two weeks to go before Paramount Pictures and Marvel Studios unleash Captain America: The First Avenger across the globe, the two studios and Epix have launched two new featurettes of behind-the-scene action. Check out both clips down below.
The action-adventure stars Chris Evans, The film also stars Hayley Atwell, Hugo Weaving, Sebastian Stan, Toby Jones, Samuel L. Jackson, Dominic Cooper, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci, Derek Luke and Neal McDonough. Helmer Joe Johnston led in the director's chair, based on a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
Plot Concept: The story will focus on the early days of the Marvel Universe when Steve Rogers volunteers to participate in an experimental program that turns him into the Super Soldier known as Captain America.
Captain America: The First Avenger hits 3D/2D theaters July 22, 2011.

This is gonna be my fav movie of the summer!!! Cant freakin wait!!!!!
I'm trying to avoid too many previews and featurettes. I will also probably avoid too many reviews so I can go into this with a clean slate. Cap has always been one of my favorites so hopefully this is a home run as my hopes and expectations are pretty high. I have faith in Marvel though as I have enjoyed all of their studio movies (IM, IM2, IH, Thor).
SgtTechCom: Mania posted a poster of Cap in his modern day gear a few weeks ago. No chain mail. More of a streamlined version that he wears in this film.

The 'scale' chainmail in the comics probably wouldn't work in live action anyway, because of the way it moves...
Plus chainmail makes too much noise and would be useless for stealth..
I don't think we'll miss the chainmail...the suit looks cool as it is!
