If Namor shows up in the movie I will be extremely excited. I think I might even cry a little if I saw it on the big screen. Marvel's First and mightiest mutant, and one of their most complex and believable  characters. (Not talking abot powers but believable personalities).

Alpha Gods sounds interesting, though I doubt it will take 40 years for this to become a policy concern. The current state of genetic manipulation and the real possibility that extraterestrial DNA is already somewhere on the planet (though *actual* extraterestrials would be harder to come by) could bring this to the fore in the next couple of decades. Of course, most science fiction 74 years out tends to be silly (unless the story uses an "equalizer," such as a post-apocalyptic world). It's just far too difficult to predict that far into the future with any noticeable degree of accuracy.

Iracors, this is the link to the original article which all the other sites then jumped on. The Q&A shows some ambiguity as far as Namor is concerned. Even the guy that wrote the piece and asked the questions says that Johnston never said that Namor would be in the film in the comments below.

I hope they do a good job with cap. america. i don't remember seeing a cap. america movie that i liked. Probably cuz i never was a cap. america fan. That entire plot of nazy's and red skull plot seemed kind of dull.

I can't believe some of you guys are being so indifferent/uncaring about the Superman lawsuit. This will have major implications for other properties as well, including Marvel. If it sets a precedent you can look for lawsuits out the wazoo and a screeching halt to all production from comics to movies.
