More Hulk for Ruffalo?

Will Ruffalo return?

By Robert T. Trate     May 01, 2012
Source: NME

There have been numerous reports that Mark Ruffalo will return as the Incredible Hulk in his own movie. Today there seems to be still no official word on a new Hulk movie. Mark Ruffalo has apparently signed a six-movie deal to appear as the Hulk. One of those appearances includes Joss Whedon’s The Avengers. This may be a new standard for superhero movies has Chris Evans had to sign a multi-picture deal as well.

Ruffalo has stated publicly that he was very interested in appearing as Bruce Banner/ the Hulk again.

All this could change in a heart beat. Bet both your green hands that an announcement is in the works and will probably follow sometime this weekend.

Thanks to
DarthBob for the submission.

With all the commotion and hype about Hulk being the secret weapon super star in the movie, you can bet your ass there will be another Hulk movie.

Success goes along away and with this movie Ruffalo is pretty much set for life. Nortan will kick himself for not just eating it and going for it.  Snooze ya lose i guess. Mark reminds me more of the legendary Bill Bixby anyway. Doctor David - "bruce" Banner !

Check out Pete Travers (Rolling Stone) review of The Avengers and to paraphrase he feels that Ruffalo nails Banner and the CGI guys got Hulk right.  So many cool Hulk storylines to go with; this is good news!

Ruffalo has shut all the Norton arselickers up. 10/10 for his performance alone, that's not even starting to say how good his motion capture acting was on the Hulk. I'd love to see him pop up in other marvel movies if  he can't get another Hulk film just to himself. Even if it's just as Banner as a cameo.

In this film, the Hulk is the Hulk, no other way of sayin it. Bring more Hulk like this I say!!

Marvel has gotten a good deal on getting younger up & coming actors and actors who weren't A-list stars. They weren't intially expensive but turned in great performances that changed their careers. Evans ,Ruffalo, & Hemsworth came along at the right time for all parties concerned.  I'm sure now RDJ is gonna take 'em to the bank when they have to re-sgn him.

CHUD posted a quote from the Marvel Marketing folks that essentially said Hulk units have been selling like crazy now so the character will be getting additional attention and focus from the company in the coming years with a solo movie likely to be slated for 2015 release.  Again, this was the marketing department and not Feige, but $$$ talks in Hollywood, and Marketing knows $$$.

Feige has been non-committal from the quotes I've see thus far, but I think he's mostly been saying Marvel will play it by ear.  They've got current plans for the next few years already in place, and I don't think he wants to just throw everything out the window right now (and before Avengers even releases in the US).

If there is a Hulk movie, they better make it right. I didn't mind the Ang Lee and Leterrier Hulk movies but they weren't viewed as big successes.

My guess is if they have a Hulk movie, maybe have one of the Avengers in it.

If only stupid Fox didn't have the X-men rights. Hulk vs Wolverine would rock. Ruffalo vs Jackman!

Maybe we'll finally get to see that Hulk buster armor!

I still think that Wolverine should be recast, I like Jackman and he was great in the first two movies, but he's just NOT the Logan I grew up with...

Get an unknown who fits the profile...
Believe me there are THOUSANDS of actors out there who do!
Please don't just cast another 6'4" handsome leading man sort next time, I want the short stocky hairball from the comics, is that too fecking much to ask?

And as for Ruffalo, I think he did a great job as Banner and he has one of the coolest lines in the movie too!
