Well, Wise and redhairs according to the snippet I read in the latest Empire magazine Logan Lerman is the new Peter Parker. It says " 18 year old Logan Lerman, star of Percy Jackson & the Lightning Thief, will play Peter Parker in Sony's reboot...."

Usually Empire Mag is a pretty reliable source and this issue doesn't come out for a few weeks, so maybe they're about to confirm it.

I'm sure I'm in the minority here but all these super hero movies being cranked out by Marvel Studios feels more like a prostitute ring than anything else. Ant Man, Wasp, Black Widow... please! All those characters sucked. I know people tend to harp a little harder on how few and far between the Batman movies have been but I think DC is starting to look very smart. (Superman Returns aside.) I'm even starting to yawn a little about Iron Man 2, but maybe that's just due to Marvel whoring it out to all the promotion agencies. Wouldn't be surprised if Tony Stark begins to look more like a Nascar driver with all the different national brands that have hopped on to suck off its success.

Doc Strange, Silver Surfer, Iron Fist, and Black Panther are all characters I'd like to see get the movie treatment before Widow or Ant Man.  Hell, I'd love to see a Cable movie, but that would could be tricky.

And I'd love to see Ghost Rider revert back to Marvel. Personally, I found the first one to be one the most awful movies I have EVER seen. It was horrible. Everything about it. Cage was gag inducing, the transition effects were awful, and the story was 2nd rate at best. GR deserved SO much better than that.

Fantastic Four and XMen need reboots, too. And I'm still waiting for Marvel to venture into TV. An HBO series would be awesome.
