There's a new round of casting rumors on 'Thor'. PLUS: The latest episode of 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold' is online. Also Jackson and Spielberg talk 'Tintin'. Waking up with Russell Brand hair, it's your Comics2Film 9.3.17!
Spielberg and Jackson talk TINTIN
The official 'Tintin' website has posted a video of filmmakers Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg. The pair, who are collaborating on an ambitious CGI feature-film trilogy, are seen wearing bowlers and riffing on the Thom(p)sons. They don't actually say much about the movies. They're there to introduce the Angouleme International Comics Festival and the opening of the Herge museum. But it's a fun clip for the 'Tintin' fans out there.
BRAVE/BOLD - "Mystery in Space" online
If you missed last Friday's episode of 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold', called "Mystery in Space", you can now catch it online. In it, Aquaman joins Batman in a thrilling space adventure on Adam Strange's home planet of Rann. There our heroes join forces to battle Gordanian General Kreegaar and his reptilian horde. It’s the power of justice and a good old fashioned fight that resurrects Aquaman’s heroism as he leads the team to on a mission to destroy the Eye of Zared!
The Question also appears in the show's opening teaser.

Rumored THOR Cast List
At the Deadline Hollywood blog, Nikkie Finke runs through the latest casting rumors on 'Thor' and adds some names to the list.
According to Finke, there is an inexplicable "big push" to get Josh Hartnett in the movie. While other websites have called Hartnett for the role of Loki, Finke reports that he may be under consideration for the lead role.
According to her report, other Thunder God candidates that are being screen-tested include:
- Charlie Hunnam ('Sons Of Anarchy')
- Tom Hiddleston ('The Gathering Storm')
- Alexandar Skarsgard (tipped previously by several sites)
- Liam Hemsworth ('The Expendables')
- Joel Kinnaman ("some Danish dude," according to Finke)
And here's one last name to get the fans buzzing: Finkie hears that Natalie Portman has been cast as the female lead.

Thanks to Antonello Blueberry for the submission.
I don't know about anyone else but I'd much rather have "Some Danish Dude" as Thor than Harnett as either Thor or Loki. Maybe an ice giant or Balder or maybe Donald Blake...
