GDM Music in Italy has re-released one of the many masterpieces of Ennio Morricone, the most recent being beautiful and fascinating music of the political thriller, SACCO E VANZETTI (1971). The movie tells the story of the anarchist Italian immigrants Niccola Sacco (Riccardo Cucciolla) and Bartolomeo Vanzetti (Gian Maria Volonté), who in 1920 were falsely accused of a robbery and murder and sentenced to death. The title song "Here's to You" and the haunting "Ballad of Sacco & Vanzetti" are sung by Joan Baez. The soundtrack was previously only available on CD in Japan, when Soundtrack Listeners Club released a limited edition soundtrack in 1991, and in a 2003 Italian recording on the BMG label, paired with Morricone's score for SVEGLIATI E UCCIDI. The GDM release expands the previous 10 track releases by an additional four score tracks.
