Great, I`m glad that they are finally bringing back westerns to the big screen. I just watch Open Range again and it reminded me how cool these movies are. I wish Eastwood would do another one.

Agreed, lets get Eastwood back in front or behind the camera...
As for this one, I'm there

I too love westerns, and I also just watched Open Range again, and I also wish Eastwood would direct another western or even Costner for that matter.
As for this, I'll watch it, but why is it always the ranchers. Those darn cattle barons are just evil.

I defiantly want Eastwood on the saddle again.

I thought that Open Range was great as well....and who can forget Tombstone?

Ed Harris is a great actor, so this will be intense and very well put together...plus it's refreshing to see this type of movie on screen....I think we all need a break from Vampires, werewolves, and zombies for a minute.....

I'm with you guys. I'm sure Eastwood isn't interested in slinging the guns anymore but as a director he would rock. I also enjoyed 'Open Range' and think that another Costner western would be nice. Could even get some of the other guys like Sam Elliot, Tom Selleck, Gene Hackman, and Morgan Freeman to play some parts or even just for some cameo appearances. Have the move around a conflict with the Railroad industry. I remember reading about that and they were worse than the cattle ranchers.

What about the "Quick and the Dead" or "Back to the Future III" or the greatest western ever, "Serenity"....While I am not the biggest Western fan, I do enjoy a good one from time to time, "Tombstone", "Unforgiven", "From Dusk Till Dawn", "Desperado".....now while the latter are not "true" Westerns, I calssify in that vain.

The synopsis sounds a lot like Leone's Once Upon a Time In The West, probably the best western.

I agree there should be more westerns. There are few coming out like 3:10 to Yuma, and Jesse james. 3:10 Looks pretty good, Not sure about Jesse james? Anways other classic westerns Are Young Guns 1 & 2.

Just saw "SERAPHIM FALLS". Reminded me of "FIRST BLOOD" a little. Gideon=Rambo. My vote is YES to the west.
