Variety reports that the synergy between Virgin Comics and its creators, who are primarily filmmakers, is paying off once again, this time in the form of 'The Megas'.
Created by movie director Jonathan Mostow ('Terminator 3') the comic tells of a future America where the social elite, or "Megas" live by a special set of laws. A complacent detective is forced to face the harsh realizations about his society when a crime peels back the layers of secrecy around the ruling class.
Plans now call for Mostow to develop a feature film version of the comic.
