Movie Screenshot Trivia: Rd 2 Set 1

The first round of our Weekly Screenshot Trivia game has come to an end and we have our winner! Actually, make that winners because we have two Maniacs tied in first place of our scoreboard. Maniacs "BoxOfficeBeast" and "Saucymi" have landed on top with a grand total of 18 points from Round 1! Following just 1 point behind them--at 17 points--is "Gentlemen Death". Great job, guys!

We had a lot of great guesswork from all of you first players and if I were to point out on screenshot which tripped up some people, it would be the 3rd screenshot of the game. While the correct answer was Red Planet, we seemed to be receiving a lot of answers suggesting Mission to Mars. The confusion on that one likely stems from both films getting released to audiences near the same time and audiences blending elements of the two, if they had not seen one or the other lately.

Before putting up the correct answers and scoreboard, I'll let you know that these first two rounds are being considered as a beta-version of this new Weekly Screenshot Trivia. In our goals to make this as easy--and appealing--as possible for you, we're going to streamline the game in programming so you won't have to go through the hassle of emailing your guesses my direction. That should be coming to you very soon!
