this looks so generic, and not as good as the first one. i will wait for this till it comes out on HBO, cinemax, showtime,  ...

I'm a fan of the games so I'll go and watch it at the theater.  The first one was good enough and the mechanics of the town were introduced already. That means that we can focus on the fun right now!

 I couldn't remember the first film except for the nurses and the sideways world ending.  It was on one of the net sites for free.  As I watched it, I realized why it had been forgotten.  It simply isn't very good.  Not sure what inspired a sequel...so many years later.  It must have a fan base.  I'd rather play the video game.  

You guys are nuts, Silent Hill was really well done and I'm looking forward to the new one!

 The original got a RT score of 29 percent from the critics.  I didn't think it was THAT bad.  But, I don't think it was great either.  

And, yes...I am nuts. 

 The bright spot is Sean Bean and Raha Mitchell.  Sean and Kit Harington are reunited from The Game of Thrones.  And, Malcolm McDowell cashes another paycheck (what ever happened to that brilliant actor?)
