From Total Film!

Total Film magazine posted exclusive concept art images, from Pacific Rim, on their website. Below you will see two of those exclusive pieces by Doug Williams. The first one is of the Jaegers. It reveals their overall scale. The second one features a Skull that has been adapted into our urban landscape.

The Plot: In the film, legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, start rising from the sea and begin a war that would takes millions of lives and consumes humanity’s resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. But even the Jaegers are proving nearly defenseless in the face of the relentless Kaiju. On the verge of defeat, the forces defending mankind have no choice but to turn to two unlikely heroes-a washed up former pilot (Charlie Hunnam) and an untested trainee (Rinko Kikuchi)-who are teamed to drive a legendary but seemingly obsolete Jaeger from the past. Together, they stand as mankind’s last hope against the mounting apocalypse.

The film features Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Charlie Day, Rinko Kikuchi, Max Martini, Rob Kazinsky, Clifton Collins Jr., and Diego Klattenhoff.

The Pacific Rim opens July 12th, 2013.

One thing I can't stand is when people park their frickin' robots any damn place they want! How many parking spots is that thing taking up!?!

Isn't this "concept art" a little late to the party?! We've already seen multiple trailers, for goodness sake!

Since when does concept art have to be the first thing seen?  And please  tell us where in the trailers it showed  awesome images  of cities being built around skulls?
