20th Century Fox and Walden Media have updated their Facebook page for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, revealing some new photos of the cast on board the ship. Check them out below. The third film of the franchise, the first since 20th Century Fox took over the distribution, will star Georgie Henley, Skandar Keynes, Ben Barnes, Will Poulter, Gary Sweet, Bruce Spence, Arthur Angel, Shane Rangi and Liam Neeson. Director Michael Apted helmed from a screenplay Christopher Markus, Stephen McFeely, Richard LaGravenese and Michael Petroni.

Plot Concept: This time around – Edmund and Lucy Pevensie, along with their pesky cousin Eustace Scrubb – find themselves swallowed into a painting and on to a fantastic Narnian ship headed for the very edges of the world.

Joining forces once again with their royal friend Prince Caspian and the warrior mouse Reepicheep, they are whisked away on a mysterious mission to the Lone Islands, and beyond. On this bewitching voyage that will test their hearts and spirits, the trio will face magical Dufflepuds, sinister slave traders, roaring dragons and enchanted merfolk. Only an entirely uncharted journey to Aslan's Country – a voyage of destiny and transformation for each of those aboard the Dawn Treader – can save Narnia, and all the astonishing creatures in it, from an unfathomable fate.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader will hit theaters December 10, 2010.

Here's the new photos.

This was my favorite Narnia book. I hope the movie comes out looking well.

I really enjoyed Prince Caspian, and am looking forward to this next installment.  The Helm looks pretty awsome

I think Disney really screwed-up by dropping out of this franchise.

Disney was idiotic in their decision.  Caspian may not have made as large as profit as L, W and W but it still made a profit! Besides, 3 and especially 4 are better books than 2. Actually, despite not liking 2, I loved the movie.  It was one of those odd times where the movie was better than the book...

Caspian was no where near as good as TLTWATW, but it was alright.  I'll go see this.

Caspian may not have done as well at the theaters, but it would've been better had it not been released when it was, right after Iron Man.  THAT was a ridiculously stupid decision by Disney.  I still can't fathom how that was good planning.

The Narnia movies are family fare (for the most part).  They're high fantasy and should be released around Christmas, not in the summer against all the action and comic films coming out.

Agree with all on Disney being stupid for dropping the franchise and for releasing the film at the wrong time of year.

I wasn't big on the last one but it was ok and like all said the following books get better. Looking forward to the next installment
