Goodbye, Cartoon Network (and its move towards crappy reality TV)... hello, increased ratings and exposure!

Granted, it airing on Disney all but guarantees that it'll be edited in some form or another. Besides, there are always legitimate uncensored subbed episode online if you need your fix. Otherwise, I see this as a good thing. Hopefully, this will lead to seeing movies like Kiki's Delivery Service and My Neighbor Totoro on Disney Channel or Disney XD (heck, Disney owns the rights to nearly all Studio Ghibli films; seeing them air on one of the Disney channels certainly wouldn't surprise me).

NO, NOT GOOD!!! you know if this is going to be targeted for kids 6-14, then there will be no blood, and little to no swearing, it takes the emotion right out of the characters, and I watch shippuden in Japanese, and they swear A LOT, Disney will kiddify it!

I agree on the kiddify point. Anime in general is very censored in the U.S., sometimes so much that the plot itself is modified. A lot of the characters will loose their... well, character.

Wow Naruto on the disney channel....

Sorry to say but anime is not for the disney audience. Anime is more for teenagers and young adults. The themes that animes have are usually of a mature and or profound nature. Disney will edit and make it into something it is not and it will lose its artistic intent. Sad day for anime .

The only thing that we can hope for is if disney eventually makes a spin off channel or brand that is atleast rated pg-14 or above and they try to preserve as much as possible.
