Natalie Portman will soon take on the world of Jane Austen and Zombies. In the same movie. The actress will star in and produce Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, reports Variety. The film that is based on the bestselling book written by Seth Grahame-Smith and Austen. Lionsgate will finance and distribute while Portman will produce through her Handsomecharlie shingle with Annette Savitch, plus Darko Films’ Richard Kelly, Sean McKittrick and Ted Hamm.
Plot Concept: Described as an expanded version of the Austen classic, the book tells the timeless story of a woman’s quest for love and independence amid the outbreak of a deadly virus that turns the undead into vicious killers. Portman will play feisty heroine Elizabeth Bennet, who is distracted from her quest to eradicate the zombie menace by the arrival of the arrogant Mr. Darcy.

She's just ok to me as far as looks go but an excellent actress.
But I must admit this doesn't intrigue me much. Of course it's too early, maybe more news and a good trailer will change my mind

Zombies RULE!!! I always wondered what the deal with this book was. Wasnt sure if it was a tongue in cheek thing or if it was semi-serious. I was going to read it..but now i will deff wait for the movie.
Padme is her only bad role but that goes for anyone involved in that franchise.
THE PROFESSIONAL and Beautiful Girls are her best roles.
She is perfect for this (and just plain perfect too!).
