In an interview with MTV, producer Jerry Bruckheimer revealed various things regarding the upcoming sequel National Treasure 2.

"I met with Nic yesterday, and it's getting very close," he said. "We're going to start filming in January."

"It's another little treasure hunt, and this time it involves [Abe] Lincoln and John Wilkes Booth and 18 pages which are actually missing from [Booth's] diary.  What was in those 18 pages?"

I loved the first movie; a great rollicking adventure. I look forward to the second one. I really enjoy the mixture of historical fact with fantasy.

#1: Actually, those 18 pages were inadvertently erased by his secretary, who was trying to copy it when an incoming telegraph signal startled her...

I actually really enjoyed the first movie. Wasn't Oscar-winning high art, but lots of fun. I'm looking forward to this one. Especially if Diane Kruger is in it. Hottie-on-the-spottie!

Macgyver already did that bdd :)

I really liked the first one, it's the only close to Indy that I've seen in a long time. Here's hoping the second one is as fun and informative as the first.
