it will be around a year, since it released in japan, so I can guess, we will see the others the same way,
I was going to import it, but now I can just wait for it, to release here...

March is a bit of a Studio Ghibli month for Disney as they've got two new releases due out for fans. Tales From Earthsea finally sees release in the US and unlike other more recent Ghibli films, it's just straight to home video with a DVD only release. While fans will be happy to finally have that, I suspect we'll see more enthusiasm for Disney's release of a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. Released previously in Japan on Blu-ray, we're likely to get the same materials here as well. This marks the second Ghibli US Blu-ray release after Ponyo last year.

Personally, I'd rather have Princess Mononoke and Howl's Moving Castle on BluRay. Those are my two favorite Ghibli movies.
And Tales From Earthsea not getting a BluRay release = FAIL on Disney's part. I'll pass on it until it's gets a proper release.
In their defense, we technically weren't going to see Tales of Earthsea AT ALL thanks to Sci Fi. I guess they got what they could.
THAT info on Tales from Earthsea is WRONG. It IS getting a Blu-Ray release. Both are coming out March 9th.
Well, I'm glad we weren't... completely forgotten with the Blu Ray releases, DISNEY. Lasseter, get on the ball here! I want Castle in the Sky too!
