@Ferret - I'm staring at it, but I'm having trouble focusing on the image.

This could work on a network like HBO, SHO, FX or AMC but I just don't see NBC pushing the envelope far enough to make this a must watch

Justin and Justin.

What could be creepier?  Scares the loose black stool out of me.

As a fan of the Hannibal series, I hate to admit it, but this could work really well if done right. However, most of the intrigue is the connection between Hannibal locked in his cell, and anyone he ever met or dealt with still roaming in the outside world. Those left outside were the ones left to being the serial killer du jour, and I'm not sure they can pull that off in a weekly series, unless it is done in story arcs ala Dexter.

I'm going to have to hold my reservations on this one until I see the how in their storytelling.

And, while on the topic, Thomas Harris needs to do one more novel with Lecter. He left it rather open ended, and in my book, he just needs to give it a fantastic sense of closure. It's so overdue it's painful, IMHO.

And oh yeah, I second the choice for Sam Neill. That would be great casting for Lecter. But I'd also add Jeremy Irons, if he was available. I remember an SNL skit he did weeks after Silence of the Lambs came out, and he played Lecter. Funny as it was, I thought his take on it was rather chilling. He nailed it.
