Eh...it looks like Spiderman. Still have no desire to see this movie on the big screen. I'll wait for redbox.

Some more set photos from Columbia Pictures' The Amazing Spider-Man have appeared online courtesy of SuperHeroHype and their forums. The latest snapshots show lead star Andrew Garfield in action while wearing the iconic webslinger outfit. Check out two photos down below and the rest of them here.
The look back into Peter's teenage years stars Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Denis Leary, Campbell Scott, Irrfan Khan, Martin Sheen and Sally Field. Marc Webb, Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves are all sharing the directing duties, based on a screenplay that James Vanderbilt penned out.
The Amazing Spider-Man will swing into 3D/2D theaters July 3, 2012.

I think the pants are an improvement. I really hate this costume.
Oh, and first time poster here, by the way. ;)
Welcome to our friendly neighborhood McQuestion
I'm actually digging the costume more and more, I like the lines it makes it look more sleek IMO. Sure it looked crappy in some of the shots we've seen but like I said before I'm sure it'll be touched up for the film. I'd urge everyone to wait for an actual clip of the film before rendering judgement.
The costume almost reminds me of the classic old school rendition of The Spiderman Costume from the Electric Company...(yes, I said The Electric Company)
The costume is taking a step back. I do not dig it. I'd rather see the black costume than this and I'm not that big a fan of the black costume.

LOL, silversurfer! Now that you pointed that out I can see it does. Maybe they will have Morgan Freeman appear in the film like he did in that show.
Hey, it gets cold in NY city, and Spidey has got to keep his junk warm yo!!!
Electric Company Spidey! Classic.
I remember I would get so excited when it was the Spidey segments. Back then, it was the only live-action Spidey we got to see (well, the Nicholas Hammond TV as well but that didn't last long)
Looks okay to me.
