We now know a new detail about Rob Zombie's upcoming Tyrannosaurus Rex. While the Halloween director hasn't given out any plot information, in the span of three weeks, he has given us two pieces of conceptual artwork via his Myspace page. I'll put up the latest and the original below.

As you can see on the left, the latest art shows a scene involving a bloody bout of boxing for the characters in the film. The first released art also has one of those Grindhouse-era feels to it.

There has been no casting announcements and the film is early into pre-production for Dimension Films with Zombie billed as both the director and screenwriter. The film isn't expected to hit theaters until August 28, 2009.

Here's the latest Concept Art

Here's another released two weeks ago.

Big Fan of Rob Zombie, His reimagining of Halloween was incredible. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. I like the poster Art and I think it will be a great flick. Bring me more gore, sex, and rock and roll

uh. uh. Attempting to be funny mckracken :D

I like the artwork but I'll need to see something along the lines of a plot and a trailer before I even go near a theater that weekend. If Zombie's writing this I don't have any real hopes of a good film, whatever it might be.

When this was first announced I thought there would be a real t-rex in the film. But apparently that's the boxer's name and he's on the run from a motorcycle gang.

Wasn't the guy that played the bar owner in Kill Bill 2 doing a biker gang movie too. I'm pretty sure that was announced some months ago, what's happening with that?
