Please kill off either Lana or Chloe on Smallville.

I can't see Joss Whedon directing The Avengers. DollHouse sucked. He would probably cast Eliza Dubumushukcoocoomacho as wasp.

Jim and Pam for Pym and Jan     see it kinda rhymes in new school eerily funkrific way.

Rainin Wilson as Ultron  or vision or Hawkeye.

I'd rather have one of the previously hired "Avengers directors" do Avengers but Whedon wouldn't suck.  I actaully thought Serenity was better than Firefly.  And no, Eliza Dushku wouldn't be Wasp. He'd cast Dichen Lachman which they should do regardless now that I think about it...

Smallville: Zod, Chloe, or Martha make the most sense to die. In that order. Clark and Lois are safe from the axe. Lex ain't returning in a major way with, probably, only one season left so you need Tess. (Besides, she's a Checkmate agent...)  Why kill Lana who can never be with Clark anyway given that she's Atom Man or whatever now. The other choices escape me...

Joss would be awesome. It will never happen.

Smallville death?  It's more than likely Zod.  I doubt they'll bring back Lana for one episode just to kill her, and I doubt that they'd kill of Ma Kent.  Chloe's a possibility, but the fact that Zod pretty much has to die in order for the story to progress, I'd expect it to be Zod.

It's about time they kill off Smallville.

I'd be down for Whedon's Avengers, but like lister said, it will never happen.

Has everyone already forgotten about Jeremy Renner's discussions for Hawkeye?

animefanjared, the reason Firefly crashed and burned on FOX has nothing to do with Whedon. It has to do with the fact that FOX decided to air the episodes out of order (putting more exciting episodes up front without worrying about such piddly little things as character development), then bouncing it around and pre-empting it with sports. They never really gave it a chance to succeed. While Dollhouse was kept in one time-slot, that time-slot was the "death slot" of Friday nights, and (even for geeks) running against Battlestar Galactica's last season was doomed to fail.

Whedon's biggest sin is that he keeps going back to FOX. They are his Lucy, holding the football while he runs, certain that he'll kick it THIS time......

....only to find himself flat on his back again.

But this movie isn't a FOX product, so I think it would be a perfect fit for him.

if that is suppose to be thor in jail ,could be he's there waiting for a psych evaluation, since that is where someone claiming to be a god would end up

Just a note on the Smallville topic...in the Doomsday episode they did kill off Jimmy Olsen, but it was Henry James Olsen.  At the end of the episode when they are at "Jimmy's" funeral we meet the REAL Jimmy Olsen from the comics who also has a camera, his name is James Bartholmew Olsen and in the comics Jimmy is much younger than Clark and Lois so the continuity is not as messed up as one might think. Sorry, I'm a Supes geek.
