Forget batman...forget John Carter...forget anything because this movie has geek orgasm written all over it and I don't think from what I've seen that it can be a bad movie in any way, shape or form.

I hope it buries TDKR just so Warner realizes Nolan isnt the end all be all of CBMs and that The Dark Knight was a fluke based on free press from Ledgers death. (and Im hands down a DC guy, I just think something needs to make WB change their approach)

I can't see how this can not be the comic book film of the year. It just looks more amazing, epic and orgasmic with every new trailer. Man that really pumps me up

shac, I've been reading some of the reactions and they seem mostly positive to overwhelmingly positive since last week when folk started tweeting their first reactions. Glad to hear you liked it, I'm a big fan so I'm almost as pumped for JC as I am the Avengers. Btw the character is actually 100 years old this year although the first proper book did come out 5 years later
 

And yes I mentioned it before how much sci/fi owes to JC. It truly is the grandaddy of the genre. From Flash Gordon all the way to Star Wars and Avatar and beyond

lol, it looks like Transformers Dark of the Moon has been slipped in at the end of that trailer.  Great movie that was as well.

 Tevii, so your one of those cats, the whole Ledgers death is the only reason TDK made money. Well they opened our IMAX here in oke city this week, it is the biggest in the US right now at 4,000 square feet, seats 600 people. For the first week of release before Lorax they are playing TDK and I was fortunate enough to see it on this awesome screen. Anyway, they played some trailers for summer movies and there was some reaction but before TDK started they played the trailer for TDKR and the crowd went nuts. All 600 of them erupted in applause and cheers. I know you can't gauge the entire reaction to a movie but I think's its safe to say that TDKR is going to be huge, so is the avengers mind you, but counting out the bat this summer is a little premature. 

wow. Wow. Wow! WOW!! That was incredible. I can't wait for this movie. I know there are going to be some people bitching about one thing or another (what good would an archer and a chick with a sig be against an alien invasion, the Hulk this or the Hulk that), but that was an incredible 2 minutes and 21 seconds. I don't care who the alien horde is the battle looks epic in scope just like it should.
