i feel bad for the children and the people who sufer from all kinds of life threatning illness. but as far as batman goes he fucking sucks ass. i never liked him never will and never wanted to be anything like him. i always thought he was a rip off of Zorro' yes that's right the Zorro. maybe because the Zorro was created 30 decades before batman and how Zorro had his hide out cave was a great fighter and put on a mask and was all in black..anyway just my opinion. but a good cause for the children and if batman bring them joy that's all good.

Zilla, I'm glad you're not a misanthropic psycho (well, today) but I absolutely love your rant. I feel bad for the children but Batman can eat a bag of dicks.  That's hillarious, I want that on a T-shirt.  I also want them to make a movie where Bruce Wayne is paralyzed and his flamboyantly gay brother has to step into his shoes for a while, like Zorro, the Gay Blade.  They can call it The Tangerine Knight.

Actually I'd watch Daredevil before I watch those ass Batman films. And if you really want to talk about let's just throw DC's Green Lantern out there "I KNOW>>>>RIGHT!!!!"

Wow... I don't hate Batman, I think sometimes he gets too exposed which at times makes me tired of the character, but no hate.  Honestly, the character that gets on my nerves the most right now is Wolverine, but that again is because of over exposure.  I also don't think of Batman as a ripoff of Zorro as much as an homage to the character.  There are many references to Zorro to the point that many nods show Bruce and his parents on the night of their killing leaving from a showing of the Mask of Zorro.  At some point all characters are going to be derivatives of some other character.

I'm sensing alot of latent, repressed homosexuality in all the bat-hate remarks. Wish you guys would just come out of the closet and admit your desires for that tall, strong, virile man with his costume excentuating his rippling muscles and prominent bat-nipples.

I think this movie is a nice idea. Bats is an admirable hero figure and I could see him as an inspiration to alot of people. Unlike Superman he is the hero we could become if we'd just get off our asses.

Another genre Kickstarter film is called The Green Girl. A filmmaker is doing a doc on the actress Susan Oliver, best remembered from the Star Trek Original series episode "The Menagerie". It was the re-purposed unaired pilot for the show with Capt. Pike captured by the illusion-creating aliens. She played Vina the girl who at one point appears to Pike as a dancing Orion slave girl. Turns out she did a huge amount of acting and was also one of the first women directors and an expert pilot who flew solo across the Atlantic.

I think his kickstarter runs out in 8 days and he's only got half the money he needs.

Okay Monkeyfoot, you caught me, I luvs me some bat nipples.  You're right, I do feel better now.  Actually,  I wasn't really ripping on batman, I was just trying to be a smart ass (although Affleck's Daredevil was a bit fabulous).  I actually like Bats and the role he fills in the DC universe, I also liked and or loved the Nolan films and many of the other projects.  Goldeneyez makes some good points too; wolverine is the top overmilked cash cow these days, and Batman isn't so much a rip off of Zorro as just another vengance driven character archetype.
