I think this looks like a blast. Fuck the comparisons.
Universal Pictures has rolled out some more behind-the-scene action from the set of Peter Berg's Battleship. The latest video of the upcoming summer tentpole comes courtesy of Apple iTunes. Check it out below or in HD Quicktime here. The adventure will star Taylor Kitsch, Brooklyn Decker, Liam Neeson, Alexander Skarsgard, Rihanna and Asano Tadanobu. Director Peter Berg led the production, based on a screenplay by Erich and Jon Hoeber.
Plot Concept: "Battleship" stars Taylor Kitsch as Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam, a physical therapist and Hopper's fiancée; Alexander Skarsgård as Hopper's older brother, Commanding Officer Stone of the USS Samson; Rihanna as Lt. Raikes, Hopper's crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone's superior (and Sam's father), Admiral Shane.
Battleship sails into theaters on May 18, 2012.
@Wiseguy, i was going on to other websights and reading on Battleship coments and just before the haters start to make way here i got on the Defencive. and all i keept reading was the negative comparisons that just sounded like a CD that just some times gets stuck on the same Fucking track. and yes you said it best, and agree 100%.....

I do hope, when it is my time to "check out", that I've done more in my life than just watch movies. I guess I've also wasted time on Facebook and Mania. So, I must be fullfilled.

@InnerSanctum, then if you are fullfilled, what the hell are you doing here? and yes hate the haters and don't be part of the game it only makes you a Hypocrite. if you "play" the" game" you Contribute to the Haters and to the so called Game. and if you have kid's i pray that you have done more in your life, for their sakes..i know i have , been all over the world but i do enjoy watching my movies with my kids, so fucq the haters and fucq the game. live life to the fullest and have a good time..
One can live a fullfilled life and still enjoy going to a movie. However, movies are not my life. My comment was all tounge in cheek...including "don't hate the haters". Hence the smiley face.
Chill bro. We are on the same team. I just am not as passionate about Battleship the movie. But, if you are sharing it with your kids because they are going to love it...I think that is cool.

so what if it has to do with ALIENS vs Battleships from Earth. it looks good and i can't see how some people are comparing this to TRANSFORMERS .. this has organic ALIENS in some kind of armored suit , looking to kick some ass..unlike the TRANSFORMERS that are cars truck's that turn in to big fighting robots? why is it because they have the the co. that made TRANSFORMERS and show a bulilding falling? so what.. you gotta be crazy to not just be able to go and just enjoy a good time . this is what going to the movies is all about this summer. and can't wait for the AVENGERS too. but most of all for me it's Prometheus, and the final Bat Man movie. so far it's starting to be a funn movie line up. i could have been from some fucked up part of the world where there are no movie theaters and the only form of entertainment is throwing rock's so hey guess what im not i live in california , and enjoy going to the movies taking my kids and living it up because you just never know when it's your time to check out. .. don't hate just have fun. and if you or some of you people think you can do better movies then great i can't wait show us what you can do but if you can't make better movies and all you do is talk s..h..i..t.. then shut your mouth and take your hate some other place not here.
