© Marvel Studios has released the latest poster for Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Solider. This is an incredible poster and hopefully the film will be as epic as this image is. The first official teaser trailer for the film is to arrive this Thursday (on iTunes trailers at 9am PST Hopefully there will be a tease of the teaser on Agents of SHIELD tonight.

Synopsis: Captain America: The Winter Soldier will pick-up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” left off, as Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1941, Marvel’s “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” features an outstanding supporting cast that includes Sebastian Stan (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Black Swan”) as Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier, Anthony Mackie (“The Hurt Locker,” “Million Dollar Baby”) as Sam Wilson/Falcon, Cobie Smulders (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “How I Met Your Mother”) as Agent Maria Hill, Frank Grillo (“Zero Dark Thirty”) as Brock Rumlow and Georges St-Pierre (“Death Warrior”) as Georges Batroc. Rounding out the talented cast are Hayley Atwell (“Captain America: The First Avenger”) as Peggy Carter, Toby Jones (“Captain America: The First Avenger,” “The Hunger Games”) as Arnim Zola, Emily VanCamp (“The Ring 2,” “Revenge”) as Agent 13 and Maximiliano Hernández (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Thor”) as Agent Jasper Sitwell.

Ugh ... I like the concept a lot. But, the picture itself is under whelming. Cap looks like a kid playing dress up. Whoever did the actual shoot and, or, Photoshopping needs a healthy dose of some the Kirby aesthetic. There needs to be more drama in that pic. Use the same concept, just make it pop with more of a awe inspiring feel. Again, imagine if Kirby would have drawn this. Picture how it would've looked. That's what I mean.

I'm so excited for this film. All the talk is so positive, yeah I'm drinking Kool Aid by the gulp.

Only thing that has me more excited for next year is GOTG but this one is first

Looks like all the other movie posters for action oriented movies over the past 2 years (MoS, Inception, Startrek II 2, DKR, Battleship, Ender's Game etc).  How bout an angle besides the back and maybe a little color.

Uh, joe4306…If CD had Cap, he wouldn't have been written by Stan and drawn by Jack in the 60's. It might have been written by John Broome and drawn by Carmine Infantino. Both, are talented men but, c'mon. Cap wouldn't have been nearly as cool.
