When was the last time the comic version of Catwoman wore stilettos...
The 1980s?

This was the week for marketing posters and banners for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises. Friday there were three more pieces that hit the internet. By far the most unique is the Catwoman poster. If only we would start to see them up and out int he real world.

wow, its a picture of catwoman's shoe crushing a batarang! What a great picture ! Got anymore ? maybe you can show us one of batman holding a batarang. Oh wait, that was the last movie.
Bunch of slack-jawwed faggots around here. Cryin' and whining over a poster.
I love that poster. The marketing machine is finally on full blast for this. Yeah Buddy!
Initially, I was uncertain about Hathaway as Catwoman. I didn't think she had the physicality to pull off an action role, and in a certain way, I still don't. At the same time, we've seen a glut of female "action heroines" in the last many years, and I think that's been done. Through the ages, women have wielded a "soft" power that has been the downfall of many a man. One thinks of the Chinese empresses and concubines whose animal magnetism and manipulative arts sent many a rival, male and female, to their graves. I think this Catwoman could be good for this Batman story. The Rachel Dawes character is the sort of girl that Bruce Wayne would imagine that he SHOULD be with. This Catwoman is the woman that Batman, which is who and what Bruce Wayne really is, would really be attracted to. And that makes this Batman human in a way that he hasn't been up to now, and that will add a new dimension to the story. I'm hoping this will work. I trust Nolan for great writing, and Anne Hathaway is a very versatile and intuitive actress. I think this Catwoman may have more tricks up her sleeve than even the trailer is letting on. This third installment in the Dark Knight saga could be the rawest and realest one yet, a proper conclusion to the trilogy.
That being said, I think Heath Ledger's perfomance in TDK will always stand as the high water mark in these Batman films, but I think we all would agree on that.
I am thinking she will do a great job, she's a good actor and I am just ready to see her in the film now. Bring it!
I like it a lot. As good as the Bane walking away from broken mask poster.
Okay, we got it. Catwoman sucks. If we are lucky.
