NEW Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes CLIP

Koba's Weapon

Fox has released a new clip for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. This clip features Koba (Toby Kebbell) interacting with a few humans. I know I am watching it online, but the effects look amazing.

Synopsis: A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar (Serkis) is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth's dominant species.
DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES features Keri Russell, Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Kodi-Smit McPhee and Gary Oldman. The film is directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield).
DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES arrives July 11th, 2014.

Well that was kind of terrifying in a weird way.

Idk...I'm twisted.   I thought it was kinda funny.

There was a time when we thought Chimps were cute...some even thought they'd make nice pets, but then some cranky chimps attacked humans killing and maiming them in particularly gruesome ways (like ripping their faces and fingers off) and we realized what monsters they were capable of being.  They are much stronger than humans (at least twice as strong) and in hand to hand combat the biggest baddest human on the planet wouldn't stand a chance against an adult chimp.  Chimps don't need a good reason to kill you...being in a bad mood is excuse enough.  I don't know if in reality they would have the motor skills and dexterity to use a submachine gun even if they were given a drug that makes them smarter, their muscles don't work that way (they're not good for delicate tasks).

Right, cause he looked like he was a sniper.  There wasn't anything in that clip that really showed fine motor skills. Held the gun and just fired.  Probably couldn't hit a can off of a fense post from 100 yards out, but could definately blast you from point blank.  Either way, as they move through the generations, Pretty sure that the serum will evolve them pretty quickly.

 Plus it's fiction.

Haha MrJaw, was gonna throw that one out there also, but I thought that was assumed!!
