 Really looking forward to this.  I've been watching Classic Dr. Who episodes on Netflix just to tide me over.

Clara is like the disposable companion.  It might be a cool running gag for the doc to get her killed in new and creative ways at the end of each episode, only to run into a re-incarnation of her in another time period.

Sort of like Douglas Adams' "Agrajag" character.
