When all else fails, they fail much worse

UPDATED: Thanks to dnbritt who points out that the character we misidentified as Cobra Commander (top right) is actually "The Doctor" aka "Dr. Mindbender". So Cobra Commander remains hidden...

Thanks to auvischizo for the submission.

I'm not seeing this movie. Screw it. WTF Cobra Commander looks like Sh^t. This isnt a slasher movie!!!
How hard is it to give him a mirrored face or for that matter a Simple, F#ckin Rag with two slits and a f#cking Cobra symbol on the forehead. Hoooooowww F%ckin hard is thissssss???
They ruined it for me. I'll wait till it comes on Cable. I wont even acknowledge renting it on DVD.
They couldnt have asked a two count them, just two fans of the comics, cartoon, etc for their opinion? F%cking morons. It's F$king distracting, It's F$king distracting oooooohh noooo.
This poster makes me again wish Abrams continued Alias with Nichols...
Do any of you dumb asses realize this isn't a fucking cartoon. Who the fuck wants to see someone in a mirror mask. Let the 80's go. When a comic book or cartoon is made to a movie it shouldn't be that same as the original if it was it would look stupid or not make since now that doesn't mean every should be change just some tweaks here and there to make it believable. Take it for what it is a movie. I remember growing up thinking wow wouldn't it be great if they made (WHAT EVER CARTON OR COMIC) into a movie. If you were one of those people that younger version of yourself would have smack you silly if they heard you.
How about you complain else about a movie you've never seen and take that energy and GET LAID.
I too am upset about CC, but Nemesis has a point. I'm still going to go see this in the theaters unless it scores like a 30 or less on rotten tomatoes. Maybe it will still be fun, even though it really isn't the GIJOE I grew up with.
When I went to see Trek, people were laughing at the trailer during the scene where acrobat soldiers dodged the rockets in the street. For some reason, I actually like Stephen Sommers movies. I'm a film graduate so I should hate them, but since he doesn't take them seriously, I don't either and I enjoy them a lot more.
That being said, he didn't write the screenplay on this one. He helped with the original story, but one of the screenwriters Stuart Beattie wrote Collateral and helped write Pirates of the Caribbean ... so this might be better than Sommers' other films. When Sommers has a good screenplay, he does a great job. He directed the live action Jungle Book which was pretty good.
I still think the majority of critcs will hate it, but if we go in thinking it's just a popcorn action flick, I think it'll be a fun experience.
Guys, slow down. That's not Cobra Commander. That's Dr. Mindbender, played by the guy that played Benny in Mummy and Igor in Van Helsing. I seriously doubt we'll see Cobra Commander until the movie opens.
I was originally looking forward to this when it was announced in spite of Sommers’ vapid pedigree. As a fan of the Marvel comics and, to a lesser degree, the cartoon I thought this was actually something suited for his particular talent w/explosions.
Then I saw them all dressed up like Movie X-Men and became a little less interested, but still intended to check it out.
THEN I saw the trailer with the Spider-man moves in the Iron Man costumes and all interest disappeared. They are action heroes, not superheroes.
Then arycogre pointed out Sienna Miller's ass and I had to give this some more thought. I think the end result is I'll just look at the poster once in awhile.
I was going to launch into a tirade about their version of Cobra Commander, but really... what's the point? Composition of the poster reveals the only thing this movie has going for it... Sienna Miller's ass.
