Yet another clip of some behind-the-scene action has been unleashed online for Green Lantern courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures and their tie-in partner Subway. The studio has has also rolled out four more TV spots for the small screen audience. Check out the featurette and the new TV spots down below and sound off with your thoughts.

The action-adventure stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, Mark Strong, Angela Bassett, Tim Robbins, Michael Clarke Duncan, Temuera Morrison, Jay O. Sanders, Taika Waititi, Jon Tenney and Geoffrey Rush. Helmer Martin Campbell led the direction, based on a screenplay by Greg Berlanti, Michael Green, Marc Guggenheim and Michael Goldenberg.

Plot Concept: In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan (Reynolds). Hal is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris (Lively), if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax...he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

Green Lantern arrives in 3D/2D theaters June 17, 2011.

dc rules....yeah

Ditto, ditto and meh not really, I'd put DC a tad behind Marvel mostly because of the scope of Marvel's endeavor. I am more of a Marvel fan but I love DC almost as much. Let's hope this film is the beginning of something spectacular too

I'm done watching clips/featurettes/commericals until this comes out.  I've been convinced to see it since the beginning, I just don't want to ruin anything by knowing too much going in.

I think DC has put out more "quality" superhero movies (Superman I & II, Batman, Batman Begins, TDK ... GL?)on the whole, but Marvel is catching up in that respect.  Outside of the last two installments of the Supes and Bats series, DCs track record is really good.  But the combined universe stuff Marvel is doing I think will be looked back on with much more admiration as the years go by.

I'm relatively new to the whole Green Lantern mythology, but I am excited for this movie.  I do worry, though, that they've relied too heavily on CGI to create the world (literally) of the Green Lanterns. The CGI looks heavy even in the so-called "intimate" scenes, particularly on OA - which, one could argue, is unavoidable - yet, I think they could have faked it a little with some physical set elements, props, etc, and reserved the CGI for the bigger, larger scope scenes.

I just Finished everything leading up to Blackest night and if this movie is even 1/10th of those books, this movie is going to rock. Though Kilowog bugs me a bit the CG i feel isnt that great.

On another note MRGarabaldi...wicked name and on the 4th season of B5 right that show.

Count me among those who feel Reynolds is wrong for Hal Jordan.  What's worse is that if this movie bombs, Reynolds is going to run away from Deadpool and right into the next safe RomCom that comes his way.  Not trying to be a hater, I hope it's good, if for no other reason than it's the best chance to see Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool.  I'm just not at all optomistic.

FilchX, thanks for the shout!  I think B5 is the best.

The CGI is really necessary for Oa as it is a totally alien world, and as I understand, it was created by the guardians for the Green Lantern Corps.  Tough to have any real world set elements for a created alien world.  Can't wait for this!!!

I'm not going to say this movie will be all epicness or it will own. But i've been waiting for this movie to come out forever...and i mean ever! matter what happens..owns or not..i'm going to enjoy it from start to beginning. A TRUE fan can take the good with the bad...i'm just glad they had the balls finally to bring this to the big screen. I too swing both ways when it comes to DC and Marvel...i have my absolute favorites from both sides...on DC i'm a Superman / Green Lantern fan...and Marvel its Captain America / Spiderman. I'm just glad to be living in a time where i can see them on the big screen in all their glory/suckiness!
