A new clip and four new television spots for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince have appeared online this morning. Warner Bros. Pictures released the clip which shows off Ron's new-found love for Romilda Vane after eating something he really shouldn't have. You can check out the new clip and four TV spots in the video players below.

The upcoming sixth installment in the popular franchise features an ensemble cast which includes Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Jim Broadbent, Helena Bonham Carter, Robbie Coltrane, Warwick Davis, Michael Gambon, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith, Timothy Spall, David Thewlis, Julie Walters, David Bradley, Jessie Cave, Frank Dillane, Tom Felton, Matthew Lewis, Evanna Lynch, Helen McCrory, Natalia Tena, Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Bonnie Wright. Director David Yates (Order of the Phoenix) is behind the camera again based on a screenplay by Steven Kloves.

Plot Concept: Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort's defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane's chocolates! And then there's Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will hit IMAX and standard theaters July 15, 2009.

That is way cool, I am currently re-reading the book to get myself all pumped up for this film.  And what i find amazing is that even though I know everything that will happen, especially why things happen here that are revealed later, I can't wait to see this cast play out those scenes.

I will eb in the INSANE line that is sure to form on July 15th!  Who is with me!!  :-D

I'll definitely be seeing it.  Hopefully in a private screening since I worked on the Imax 3D version and we usually get one.  At least I hope we do, even though it's been months since we finished.  I'm really looking forward to it and I'll probably re-read the book next month.

I'm with you. I just finished re-reading the entire series in anticipation.  It still rocks. It was the first time since it came out that I read the last book.  Still holds up.  HBP was better than I remembered.  I think the first time I read it, I was so eager to get to the last book, I felt like it was just filler.  This time around, I enjoyed it much more.
